KERSHAW, RobertMy research interest is my grandfather Robert Kershaw. He was not active in my fathers upbringing and so we have no family knowledge of him. The only information I have is from my fathers birth certificate which identifies that in 1913 Robert Kershaw was working as a painter with the Furness Railways and living just outside Barrow-in-Furness. I have been in touch with the Barrow Local History Service, who advise me that that their archive only includes information about station staff, not yard staff. Anne Kershaw and Gary OakesANY
